<p style="text-align:left">The Scuola Normale Superiore is organising for the academic year 2025/2026 - within the MERITA Project, the network for talent, with funding of the the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP,), Mission 4 – Education and Research, Component 1, Investment 3.4 "Advanced university training and skills" – "Reinforcement of the Scuole universitarie superiori (the university institutes of higher education)", Public notice pursuant to Director's Decree No. 594/2024 -the International Workshop “Diagnostics for Cultural Heritage: Research, Conservation, Accessibility.”<br />
The course will be held in person from May 12 to 15, 2026, in Florence at the site of the Scuola Normale Superiore and at the laboratories of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, for a total of 32 hours.<br />
The official languages are Italian and English.<br />
The course has a maximum capacity of 16 participants.</p>
<p style="text-align:left">Those qualifying and admission requirements: Activities are suitable for those currently enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs at Italian and foreign universities, in both Humanities disciplines (Cultural Heritage, Archaeology, Art History, Architecture, Literature, History) and Scientific disciplines (Physical and Technological Sciences, Chemical and Technological Sciences, Geological Sciences, Diagnostics for Cultural Heritage Conservation), as well as to recent graduates in the above-mentioned disciplines (no more than six months prior to the application deadline).</p>
<p style="text-align:left">Please attach the following mandatory documents:<br />
- an up-to-date signed Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum, including the exams’ list;<br />
- a valid identity document;<br />
- a short biographical note outlining the candidate research or study interests (max 600 words).<br />
