<p>The Scuola Normale Superiore is organising - within the MERITA Project, the network for talent, with funding of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) - the Summer school denominated &ldquo;<strong>The epigraphic landscape of Gortyna</strong>&rdquo; will be held in person from 6 October to 10 October at the mission house of the Italian Archaeological School at Athens (SAIA) in Hagioi Deka (Crete) and on the archaeological site of ancient Gortyn, for a total of 40 hours.<br /> The official languages of the course are Italian, English and French.<br /> The course will have a maximum of 12 participants.<br /> The activities are suitable for students of Italian and non-Italian universities enrolled in courses of Undergraduate Degree, Master&#39;s Degree, or PhD programs in Ancient History.<br /> Admission requirements: knowledge of ancient Greek and Latin; attendance of at least one course in Greek History, Roman History, Greek Epigraphy, or Latin Epigraphy.<br /> Selection process: candidates will be selected based on their CV and on the attached documentation.<br /> Those intending to compete for admission to the school must submit an application via this dedicated platform,&nbsp;<strong>no later than July 20, 2025</strong>.</p>
