<p><span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit">The Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa is organising for the academic year 2025/2026 - within the MERITA Project, the network for talent, with funding of the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR) (NRRP, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan), Mission 4 – Education and Research, Component 1, Investment 3.4 "Advanced university training and skills" – "Reinforcement of the Scuole universitarie superiori (the university institutes of higher education)", Public notice pursuant to Director's Decree No. 594/2024 – a <span style="color:#000000">Seasonal School </span>denominated:<strong> “Quantum Science and Technology”</strong> in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore di Studi Avanzati della Sapienza and the Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori dell’Università di Padova.</span></span></span></span></p>

<span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit">The school will be held in person at the Fondazione Conservatorio Santa Chiara (San Miniato, PI) and the official language is <strong>english</strong>.</span></span></span></span></p>

<span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit">The school will consist of two separate sections:</span></span></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit"><strong>May 4-8</strong>, <strong>Theoretical Section</strong>, focusing on theoretical aspects of quantum science and technology;</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit"><strong>May 11-15</strong>, <strong>Experimental Section</strong>, focusing on experimental implementations and methodologies.</span></span></span></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit"><strong>Each section</strong> will admit a <strong>maximum of 50 participants</strong>.</span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:small"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="color:inherit"><span style="color:#222b45">Target audience</span><span style="color:#222b45">:</span> students of Italian and non-Italian universities enrolled in PhD courses and early-career researchers active in the field of quantum science and technology.</span></span></span></span></p>
